Belonging is something we all search for, especially as young people trying to define who we are. This exhibition features artwork from youth growing up between different cultures and places, balancing traditions, expectations, and dreams for the future. Through paintings, drawings, and photographs—including self-portraits, cultural symbols, foods, and everyday moments—we explore what it feels like to live across two cultures, sometimes feeling caught in between, and other times finding strength and beauty in the mix of influences that shape us. These works tell personal stories about who we are now and who we hope to become. They show the challenges of living between different cultures while also figuring out who we want to be and what our future might look like. We hope this exhibition invites every visitor—especially kids and teens—to reflect on their own identity, where they belong, and how their unique story shapes who they are becoming.
