Belonging: A Journey of Youth, Culture, and Identity

Emma Kim is a Korean American student at Veritas Christian Academy whose artwork explores the experience of growing up between two cultures. Inspired by her heritage, travels, and encounters with different communities during mission trips, her piece in this portfolio reflects the search for belonging and the connections that bridge cultures. Through her art, Emma hopes to express the beauty and challenges of living between worlds while inspiring understanding and empathy in others.
